Meet Our Franchisee: Jason from Dryvebox Milwaukee
From his first golf club at age four to Green Bay Packers tailgates and the American Club in Kohler — Jason Knutson brings Dryvebox to Wisconsin year-round, weather be damned.
Jason Knutson didn’t wait too long before grabbing a golf club.
At just 4 years old, he began what has become a lifelong journey through golf. From his high school days playing on the conference championship golf team to traveling the globe — exploring golf courses in places like Norway, Mexico, and Hawaii — Jason’s love for the game has been a constant companion.
And now, golf has become Jason’s career through Dryvebox Milwaukee, bringing the excitement and utility of an industry-leading mobile golf simulator to his hometown.
Discovering Dryvebox: a perfect match
The first time Jason caught wind of Dryvebox, he knew he had to meet the team. After traveling to San Francisco to learn more, he knew this was the venture he wanted to be part of. Jason had seen golf become continually more popular year after year, and understood the value proposition in front of him in Milwaukee, so he and his family dove in.

Bringing golf to the community
Since launching last summer, Dryvebox Milwaukee — able to bring golf across Wisconsin no matter the weather — has been making waves across Wisconsin. Their events have been as diverse as they are exciting:
- Hosting several Green Bay Packers tailgates
- Bringing golf to Innovative Fitness’s Food Drive event
- Utilizing an indoor setup at one of Wisconsin’s premier golf destinations, the American Club in Kohler
- Partnering with Rivian for their showroom launch
- Supporting the United States Air Force’s memorable holiday party
Regardless of the size of the event, from private parties to large-scale gatherings, Jason focuses on bringing the premier golf experience to his fellow Wisconsin residents.
A shared passion for golf
Jason isn’t the only golf-crazed member of his family. His wife, Kim, grew up around golf, caddied for her dad during a pro-am event, and worked eight years at a local golf course. Their oldest child, Carter (5), recently participated in his first golf tournament, and his younger brother, Max (2), already is intrigued by the sport, too.
Jason’s golf journey — now including Dryvebox Milwaukee — is a family affair.
